Recently, Ellem Industrial has officially been granted the Certificate of Approval issued by MAN Energy Solutions. Certificate No.: 1061.0 Issue date: 19-11-2024; Expiration date: 19-11-2029.
Under this approval, Ellem Industrial Shanghai is responsible for the product design of the Air Starter, while Ellem Industrial Wuxi undertakes manufacturing and supply. The approved air starter fits MAN four stroke small bore diesel engines covering engine series: 16/24, 23/30, 21/31, 27/38, 28/32. The approval scope covers design, manufacture and supply, subject to the terms and conditions defined in Appendix A of the certificate.
This official OEM approval from MAN Energy Solutions represents authoritative recognition of ELLEM’s R&D capability and production quality control system. Going forward, ELLEM is able to supply MAN approved air starters for new building and spare part services to shipyards, ship owners and genset integrators worldwide, delivering reliable domestic component options for MAN four stroke small bore engine projects.
